Hi Loves. It was Friday a few minutes ago and now, Monday is upon us. Someone stole my weekend. Please give it back, sniff sniff.
The Outfit – White tee n ripped denim.
I didn’t do much this weekend and by didnt do much, I mean I didn’t do anything at all. An old friend from Secondary school came to visit and that was fun. We sure had a good time catching up and I must say, I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time.
I personally feel that white tees or white shirts/tops on denim is a sure fashion recepie. I mean, it’s a chic, laid back look and at the same time can admit you into various events and places depending on how it’s styled.
Mine passes for maybe lunch with the girls? I’ve always had a thing for ripped denims and tops and it’s funny cos this is the first time I’d wear a ripped top without a camisole. Why love something you can’t wear as it was intended to be worn? Lol. The life of a conservative female.
To spice up your look, statement accessories are required. I wasn’t going for an event or anything like that so I opted for a hat and layered chain Which btw has become a recent obsession.
Looking at these pictures, I’m imagining how a crisp white shirt with heavy layered chains would look with the ripped jeans and maybe some bad ass heels (which you would never catch me wearing). Maybe I could try that just for fun.
What’s your take on ripped clothing loves? You bold enough to rock such tops like that, or you’re like me and would rather wear a tube or camisole? I’d love to hear from you, and how did your weekend go?

I love! The truck gave the best background and it complements the outfit too. Pass that bag sharply hehehe.
You did not show the back of the top na! I would definitely rock it and there should not be a problem since its not my bust area. Hey fellow hat lady! *waving and doing a weird dance* LOL
Sadly, I got carried away and forgot to show the back of the top *facepalm*.. Waving right back at you hat lady..
Yipee, that’s my gal, biko I need them jeans.
Looking good..very simple and elegant..And I love the detail behind the shirt…
Thank you so much Linda.
I love the truck background and the ripped jeans.. You look very lovely ????????
How about showing us 360• view. We would like to appreciate the beauty of the top too.
I was eager to see a clear photo of the back.
Sorry na 🙁
Me too I was waiting for back photo oo. But see don’t great minds think alike? We are both spotting ripped denim on the blog haha. Beautiful outfit
How true! Looool. Worry not, you’ll get a picture of the back soon.
The back of the top! It looks so good.
I love ripped jeans, anytime, anyday.
White & denim = staple.
I have done ripped jeans in years! But they always look nice on others.
Where’d you get the shoes from?

I got the shoes from a girls shop close to my house.
I really love your sense of style. I know I’ve said this so many times. Effortlessly chic.
I love this! I really like that the truck was your backdrop it really matched the theme. I do love ripped clothing but I just realized I don’t have any. *off to look for my scissors*
Lmaooooo @getting the scissors..thank you do much.
Saying that I love this look is an understatement. I really LOVE it.

You look really beautiful, I love the scenery too.
I don’t own a pair of ripped jeans, yours look so tidy and decent. Now, I’m considering getting one, I like the rocker-chic vibe. 🙂
I would have worn a tube/camisole underneath the ripped tee, just like you did, I would be too shy to wear it without one.
Weekend was nice, I am glad another one is round the corner. Lol
Thank you so much. Im grinning from ear to ear. I missed the TBC event and a chance to meet you but another will come. Mwah
