By Thursday, I had my whole weekend planned out. On Saturday, I would attend the Nigerian Fashion Bloggers Yard Sale, then the art show hosted by Otoxic, wrap up the day by seeing a movie with friends. I was totally unaware that the Slum 2 School Africa volunteer party was scheduled for the same day and I had to pick. Slum 2 School is a volunteer organization aimed at taking kids out of the slums and putting them in school to enable them lead and live better lives. The venue was the La campange Tropicana and as I had never been, I jumped on the idea *covers face*. It was totally worth it. There were all sorts of cool activities; Hula Hoops, SeeSaws, Kayaks, Volleyball, Swimming, Dancing, the girls even challenged the guys to a game of football lol. I had so much fun and made new friends 🙂 On the fashion side of it, I wore three quarter pants to protect my legs assuming there were sand flies, a beach tie top with my hat (Bruno mars ain’t got nothing on me).
