Hey hey hey!!!
I’m very sure you all are tired of my constant apologies so let’s skip that part and get right into today’s post shall we?
I started a series on how to style basic essentials here, so this is look 2. The focus is this mesh like grey long sleeved top that could be worn in various ways.
The whole idea with essentials is to style them in different ways, maximizing them to the fullest.
You really don’t need to have clothes spilling out of your wardrobe to look good every single time.
The idea is being able to switch up your looks around what you have, and that’s what I call being fashionably smart.
I finally got to wear this kimono I’ve had for a while now over the grey top and paired with skinny jeans and heels. I think it gives off that chic look without trying too hard. What do you think?
Good thing is, this look can be worn to work on a friday, to an event, to a not so formal meeting, you name it.

Look at me, I survived not wearing black this time around lol. What do you guys think about look2? Share your thoughts using the comment box please. Mwah!

Hi Grace,
I have a kimono jacket exactly like yours but in a different print. This is such a fun way to style it.
Ah! I need a new pair of jeans. 🙂
I’m pretty sure you sewed yours. *jealous much*
I love the colours on the kimono and you styled it just right. Nice one http://www.adagirl.com.ng
Thank you very much Ada.
Yup, I prefer this way versus the first one. But then again, I prefer jeans and jackets/blazers to regular pants.
