Strutting In Tie & Dye …

Hey Hey Hey!

I woke up super excited. I still haven’t placed why though, but I’m sure it will come to me sooner than later. Or it could simply just be the fact that I am learning how to appreciate life more? Hmmm who knows.

Anyway guys, notice anything different? Yup! I’m wearing a dress!!!

 It’s not that I don’t like dresses, I do. As a matter of fact, I even own quite a number of them but I always end up changing my mind when I wear one and I end up in pants or jeans.

I think it has to do with what I’m more comfortable in. pants, jeans, skirts recently yes, but dresses? Nope. So how did I manage not to take this off after looking at myself in the mirror? My good mood perhaps, Lol.

I used a belt on this dress for two reasons. One, the length of the dress. It stops a little after my knee and because of my height, I personally do not like to wear anything that stops a little after my knee. It has to stop just on my knee, above my knee or it better still be maxi. I feel I look shorter in midi length outfits, especially as I really don’t really wear a lot of heels.

Two, It jazzes up the dress 🙂 It’s a known fact that a little piece of accessory can change the look of an outfit. It could be a belt, scarf, hat or even a pair of sunglasses.

No, I did not plan the purple toe nails. It just kinda happened. Lol.

I got this cute tie & dye dress from the5kshop. I must say they have pretty cool items. Definitely a place to shop and look awesome without breaking the bank.
