“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together” – Marilyn Monroe.

It’s no secret that dress shirts have been and will probably always be “IN”. Like I said in other post which you can read here, dress shirts can be styled in various ways. Decided to dress this one down by pairing it with my slim pants. I was so tired on this day, I’m sure you can tell from the pictures.

I found it quite interesting seeing the face of Marilyn Monroe on this dress shirt and decided to look her up.

Norma Jeane Mortenson was born on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, California, U.S. She was an American actress and singer who starred in a number of commercially successful motion pictures during the 1950s and early 1960s. It might interest you to know that she spent most of her childhood in foster homes but that didn’t deter her, as she began her modelling career which landed her a film contract with Twentieth Century Fox in 1946.

Just in case you’re wondering where Marilyn Monroe came from, her other names are:

  • Norma Jeane Baker
  • Norma Jeane Dougherty
  • Norma Jeane DiMaggio
  • Marilyn Monroe Miller

I think she got married three times. Fast forward to August 5th 1962, she died from an overdose of Barbiturates. It is said that the final years of Monroe’s life were marked by illness, personal problems, and a reputation for unreliability and being difficult to work with. How sad.

I feel like I’ve been alil off. It has to do with some project I’m working on which seems to be draining me, but im trying to manage my time so I can get back to being myself. Cheers  to the weekend darlings.
