Lippies, my new love. I mentioned in my basic makeup turned fab post which you can read here if you missed it, that I have picked a little interest in makeup. Well, the other day as I sat braiding my hair in the market, a woman selling makeup walked past me…
Okay okay, she didn’t exactly walk past me, she stopped in front of me to market her goods. I initially shook my head which meant ‘not interested’ but on second thought, I called her back and looked through the lippies and found this product ‘Classic Makeup U.S.A’ which prior to now, I had never heard of (not like I know a lot of makeup brands though). What caught my eye was the Black color – Bad Girl. For some weird reason, I like the smokey eye and dark lips look (I’m not Gothic though). I bought three different colors. Each was sold at N300 hehehehehehe.
I wouldn’t call this a review, this is me gradually falling in love with Lippies and a lil makeup and generally trying stuff out.
The Lippies have Matte on the pack but it’s just the Black-Bad girl that feels like matte. The rest feel somewhat oily and come off (not easily though).
My favourite Lippie is the the Pure Purple followed by the Bad Girl. Which color is your favurite?

I love lipstick. These colours look richly pigmented and at the price of N300, it’s like Santa came early this year. I live for great bargains. 🙂
My favourite is the Classic nude because it looks like a Rose-Brown shade, my favourite MLBB (my lips but better) hue.

Bad girl hmmm, I have never tried a black lipstick though but I am feeling very adventurous these days thanks to you and Cassie, so lemme run and find classic. The name alone is intriguing. They all look awesome on you.

I tend to avoid buying thing from road side sellers due to the amount of fake goods in th market but 300 for lipstick is a definite bargain. I love the first dark lip on you, I think it would look great mixed with the purple lipstick.

You could blend the black shade with other bright lipsticks to achieve either a darker shade or an ombre effect.

The Classic Nude looks like a dupe for the new Amrezy Rezy liquid lipstick.
