Kijani

Hey Loves!!!!

A few weeks ago or let’s say a month ago, the good people of Kijani sent me a cute parcel containing a bottle of body oil and black soap shampoo…

I guess these are some of the perks of being a blogger eh? *wink*

I have used some kijani products in the past like their whipped batter (which is amazing by the way), and their coconut oil and I must say, I was am very impressed.

So yes, my expectations for the shampoo and oil were already high. Did they meet my expectations, let’s find out.

Kijani Body Oil & Black Soap Shampoo ReviewKijani

Key Ingredients are;

  • Aqua
  • Cocoa pod ash
  • Shea butter
  • Cocos Nucifera (Coconut oil)
  • And a blend of essential oils.

The black soap shampoo promises and claims to gently cleanse the hair and scalp. It is also designed to take care of dry and itchy scalps, ridding one of dandruff.

My scalp used to be dry (no thanks to not oiling it like I should), and yes I used to have dandruff too, but since I started using the shampoo, I have noticed a difference.

My scalp feels alot cleaner after washing plus the mint in the shampoo has this soothing effect which I really like.

I use just a little cos like the bottle says, a little goes a long way. It’s got a rich lather and a nice smell too.

After washing, I oil my scalp with their coconut oil and seal with their whipped batter.

Bye bye dandruff, hello healthy scalp & hair.

On to the body oil…
Kijani

Ingredients are;

  • Coconut oil
  • Jojoba oil
  • Argan oil
  • With Vanilla mint
  • And lavender essential oil.

The body oil is designed to even skin tone and the direction says to use at night for better results.

I use it right after my night bath when my body is a little damp. I noticed that my skin absorbs the oil nicely and its got this soothing feel. Must be the vanilla mint.

Have I noticed a noticeable change in my skin tone, I really can’t say but I will attribute it to the fact that my skin has got a mind of its own (a stubborn one too).

Regardless, the oil has got this nice subtle smell that lingers. Love it!!!

Used any Kijani products, what are your thoughts?
