Hope you all enjoyed the Easter break? I did. Spent it with family plus the family expanded during the break, so it was double celebration. Now it’s back to work, school, business, whatever it is we all do and boy am I still in the lazy mood. Sigh!
A few weeks ago, a very dear friend of mine got a voucher from Jumia worth some cool amount and guess who he let use it? *wink*. I was torn between getting clothes and products for my hair. I went back and forth and back and forth and back and forth …
Happy new months darlings. I know most people are pumped with excitement at the recent turn of events and to that I say lets embrace this change with open arms and open hearts. Sometimes we all want more and right now I want more for my nails lool! I am a huge fan of well manicured and fun looking nails, but that hasn’t been the issue in my case.
I know it’s been a while I put up a post. The plan is to be more consistent, (fighting the ‘but’ urge) so I’ll leave it at that. I will and I am working on it. *pinky promise*. I got a call last week from TwentySix asking if I would like to use my platform to show their new array of goodies. To say I was and am still excited is toning it down. I literally did the two step. Yup! One, I am a big fan of TwenySix, and two, the fact that they called me,yes me, means I must be doing something right. 🙂
Remember my Mente De Moda post? Well if you don’t, you can read all about it here. I attended the last edition and bought this #RetroBae tunic tee from the Guapa stand. Of cos I was drawn to it cos of the chick with the cool fro and glasses. I immediately thought, wow! That’s so cool.
While I was MIA here on the blog, I got pretty busy with some other things. Some of which I mentioned in my ‘Look Who’s Back post’ but what I didn’t mention was, I got to write a teeny weeny article for the Monologue section on Converse8. Yaaay. I decided to share it on my blog as well. Hope you learn a thing or two from it.
‘’It is often said, don’t judge a book by its cover, but many people still do. That applies especially when you’re up there presenting. The first impression you make comes from the way you look.’’
A board meeting is a meeting of the directors. It must be distinguished from a general meeting, which is a meeting of the members (shareholders) of a company. These meetings hold at intervals to discuss the problems and policies of the organisation and make decisions.
I have learnt and I’m still learning, that on this blogging journey of mine, I will encounter all sorts of hiccups. First it was an issue with my URL, then issues with my host, to loosing all my pictures on the blog while moving it to another host, to forgetting my password and retrieving it became an uphill task ( weird yea?) to …. Sigh!
